Besides the springs, Edipsos was known since the ancient years for the spas of Kymi, an important ancient city, Yialtra a picturesque coastal village and Helia, a beautiful fishing village 5 km away from Aedipsos with natural springs with healing properties. The subsoil of Evia and Central Greece is formed in a way the allows the water flowing and welling up, through rocks and minerals absorbing all the healing elements that give the healing and well being properties in the water. There are many springs and spa centers ideal for baths and spas, that today are fully organized with modern facilities such as the spas of Ypati, Thermopiles and Kamena Vourla. |
